CLEAN UP YOUR MIND OR LOSE IT

There is no gain saying the fact that your mind is your greatest physical asset. Whoever thinks otherwise should prove it.

If you don't find a way to clean up your mind, you will likely lose it, and that is serious.

Why am I confident to declare this? You see, with over 10 years of experience spending hundreds of hours consulting
and attending to all kinds of patients ( with physical and mental illness), I know without a shadow of doubt, the powerful role a clear mind plays in helping people maximize their life and opportunities.

In fact, I think the human mind is man's greatest physical asset. If you lose your job or business, you can get it back. If you lose your marriage, you can get it back (well, maybe not with your estranged
spouse or partner), however, you can get things back.

The point I am trying to make is that, there is nothing outside of you that you cannot get back if you lose it, provided your mind is INTACT. On the contrary, If you lose your mind, you have lost everything.

If you know about my life story, you will know that my pathway through
the University and Med School was incredibly unusual. Why do I say that?

I was one of the top 3 students in Biochemistry as I was going to 300
Level before I transferred to Medicine. Gosh, I really loved Biochemistry. A fascinating subject. The lecturers were amazing. Notwithstanding, I was not fulfilled.

I knew deep down that I wanted to be a medical doctor attending to and treating people. It was a deep down desire in my consciousness.

After transferring from Biochemistry to Medical College in the same University, I had to start from 200 Level Medicine (losing one year by doing so). Well, I didn't mind. What is one year of loss compared to a lifetime of regret? So i hopped on the med school bandwagon and off I went on a ride.

Well I wish the ride was asmooth one. The fact is, it was far from smooth. I smoothly went from year 2 to year 3 and then turbulently spent about 6 years between year 3 & 4 in Med school! On a smooth cale dar, that time should have been enough for me to graduate from Med School if I had started from year one.

So what happened? Well, the space here would not be enough to cram the 6 years of psychological torture I went through. In fact, the story is deeper than this. However, let me give you a brief stint of why the time lag happened at that point.

In my country, there is a body called ASUU (ASUU means Academic Staff
Union of Universities). It is a union of university academic staff. Actually, it is an offshoot of the Nigerian Association of University Teachers (NAUT).

ASUU Strikes were somewhat frequent then. Coincidentally, even as at the time of writing this piece, they are currently on strike!

Please don't get me wrong. Lecturers in my country are one of the best and brightest in the world. Very intelligent and sound.

A lot of them go out of their way to improvise to teach their students. However, in an oil rich country like mine blessed with oil and other additional abundant mineral resources and a fantastic weather, that shouldn't be the case, isn't it?

The universities ought to be the best equipped in the world, but sadly, it is not so. I hope one day it becomes so.

So they (ASUU) sometimes have to take strike measures to be able to get the government to answer to their requests. Sad right? Anyway, back to my story.

Anyway, the delay in my academic journey wasn't just due to ASUU strikes alone. Also contributory was the university's departmental accreditation for running a medical program which they didn't have at the time (they eventually did get it) and even after that, exams and other sundry issues were involved. Whew!

So you see, there was a lot in between. [SIGH]. Well, the end of that true life story was that I graduated finally! [Full story for another day! Lol!]

That being said, from what I have reeled out so far, I think I know a thing or two about staying sane while going through insane circumstances.

In my Ebook, titled REFORMAT YOUR HEAD - How To Clear Your Mind For
Better Mental Focus & Sleep, I reveal practical steps I use to help clear my mind so I have mental clarity with improved sleep to pursue my goals and dreams.

So Before You Blame Witches & Wizards for haunting you, you need to truly ask yourself what your deepest beliefs are.

Why?

Because your deepest beliefs are actually a self-fulfilling prophecy. However, you may face a lot of circumstances that have the potential for boggling down your mind. Trust me, when you lose mental clarity,
you will make stupid choices, some of which could be irreversible.

So in essence, until you identify and clear these mental conflicts from your head, you will always feel powerless and confused, making one wrong choice to the other. It can be really devastating.

In Reformat Your Head, I share practical steps on how to clear your mind so you don't get overwhelmed by thoughts.

In a single read, you can grab my secrets for keeping a sane mind while going through insane circumstances.

This is a short read eBook borne out of personal experience and practical approach, backed by scientific principles.

Hope this helps.
